Shipping:

We have shipped quite a few puppies over the years and have shipped all over the United States.  We only ship by ground transport, we do not ship by air.  We use a veteran ground shipper that runs a Pet Delivery service.  We have found him to do an extremely good job and to take excellent care of our pups.  We have never, ever had a problem and find that ground shipping is much easier and less stressful on our pups.  Our shipper runs a "door to door" service, he picks up the pup from us and drives them to you, right to your door if you wish.  Our shipping price is $250.00, for puppies.  It costs us anywhere from $350-$400, actual shipping cost, but we only charge our customers $250.  There are no extra fees, this is a one time cost that covers everything and all the details are handled by us.  This fee includes the vet check and the transport.
 
The only way we will sell a pup to someone not in the continental US, is through an intermediary that the buyer knows and trusts, that resides here in America.  We will ship the pup to your person and they will ship it to you, over seas.  Joyful Acres will not be responsible and will not set up any shipping for overseas customers.

Our desire is to keep shipping costs low for our customers.  We have found that $250 is the lowest shipping cost, for puppies, that we have seen and the truth is, it costs us more than $250 to ship you your puppy.  There are no "additional" expenses at Joyful Acres, the total cost for you is $250.  When you get your puppy there will be no additional costs or fees imposed, you will not have to pay the driver anything.  We will take care of everything on this end for you, all you will have to do is be flexible with the shipper, us and the details.

Please know that we will be working as fast as we can on our end to get you your puppy.  We know how exciting it can be to get a new puppy, especially if you have been waiting for a number of weeks. 

Please note that the balance on your pup, plus the shipping fee, is due when your puppy is six (6) weeks old.  The reason we ask you to do this, is so that when the pup is ready to ship, there are no delays and your pup can go out as soon as possible.  We have found, over the years, that sometimes people don't get the balance paid and our shipper is here for the pup.  Because the pup is not paid for we cannot ship the puppy and we have to hold the pup back.  Then it may be a week or more before the shipper is back in this area. 

Any delay in getting us the contract, balance owed on a puppy or shipping costs, will result in your puppy being shipped at a later date.  We will not ship a puppy until everything is paid for.

Shipping your pup is one of the most important steps in the purchase of your new family member.  It is also one of the most stressful times for us, the puppy and for you!  We have had great success in shipping pups and we have found the most important thing to remember is to try and have patience and flexibility!  We always get our puppies to their new homes, sometimes the trip is not as fast as our buyers would like and sometimes it is much faster than our customers expected.  We ask for your patience and understanding, please know we want you to meet your new pup as soon as possible!
